Apollo A-Team Professional Porcelain & Dekton Core Bit
Apollo’s newest drill bit / core bit, specially designed for drilling Porcelain Tile. Suitable for drilling Dekton as well. Currently available in 1/4", 3/8", 1/2" 1", 1-3/8" and 2" (other diameters require special order).
Formulated with high quality diamonds, the segments on this core bit will allow for long-lasting use and chip-free results on porcelain tiles. Best to use this type of drill bit with water, and pay close attention to recommended speed (see specification chart below).
When drilling into dense Porcelain Tile or Dekton, water use is highly recommended to reduce burnout of diamonds. If the diamond segments get dull, we recommend drilling it through sharpening stone (sold separately), approx. 8-10 times.
With a standard 5/8”-11 thread, we recommend using the this drill bit on an angle grinder, or a high-speed power drill - (adaptor available sold separately).
